Max Frankel on the state of journalism today


May 5 -- Max Frankel is the former executive editor of The New York Times. He's won many awards, including a Pulitzer Prize, and he retired from the Times in 1994. We sat down with him in his Manhattan apartment to learn about what life was like as the editor of one of the world's most renowned newspapers, what he thinks about the future ownership of the paper and what advice he gives young journalists as they enter the profession.
